Piecing It Together for the Water Tower Lights

In our PIT stop feature, we assemble additional pieces of the puzzle. Readers are able to learn more about the mill, its employees and the Hespeler community at large.

The water tower lights were a beacon to the city and to aircraft passing over the region. Pilots often said they would navigate by the lights of the Hespeler Mill as they could be seen for many miles away.
