D. W. & W.’s Use of Coal

We use a tremendous amount of anthracite coal to heat our Mill. This type of coal is the highest density and highest energy density.

It’s used for both heating (boiler) and heating water for the washing and dying processes.

You can see in these photos just the sheer amount we store onsite (secured by a security fence).
